Hi, my name is Graham Kaletsky, and I am currently working towards an M.A. in History and Archives at Keene State College.  I previously earned B.A. in Media and Communication Studies from Johnson & Wales in Providence, Rhode Island, in 2016. I am excited to study to Civil War in this class, as I have an interest in American history, but have never had the opportunity to study this era.

My research project will be examining the art of the time and how it was affected by the American Civil War, as well as how it affected the people and politics of the mid-to-late 19th century.  In particular I will be looking at painting and drawing, but may delve into other visual arts depending on my findings.
