Betsy A. Street

My name is Betsy Street. I am on my third course in the graduate program in History and Archives, and loving the challenge. It is a joy to be a student again, to hurl myself against an academic standard, and to crack my brain open with new understandings, connections, and skills. My undergraduate major was a double major in Astronomy and American Studies, and I have worked in Silicon Valley, local non-profits and a small financial firm. For the past 10 years, I’ve been a project leader in the Education department at KSC. I love to wade into chaos and sort things out, whether they be things, people, feelings, information, whatever.

My Civil War research project will examine death in the Civil War, with a focus on the fate of soldiers from my town, Nelson, New Hampshire.
