For the semester, I am researching the religious framework surrounding the antebellum and Civil War periods. Specifically, I am looking at New Hampshire and the differing sects of Protestantism in New England. I will be looking into the changes in religion that helped lead to the  Civil War and how those feelings and beliefs changed as the bloodiest war in American history raged on.
